    Nevada Animal Abuse Registry

This Animal Abuse Registry is the first of its kind in Nevada. It is a privately funded searchable database of individuals found guilty of animal abuse in Nevada. We are doing our best to protect animals from repeat offenders through public awareness.

While we do comb through public and court records, we can only catch a fraction of them. If you know of a person that has been convicted (either through plea deal or found guilty by jury/judge), please click on Add an Offender and provide their information for us (name, conviction, county, date, etc).

We will verify this information with court records and add once verified. And thank you - for helping keeping our fur babies safe from the monsters that continue to harm them!

Due to our absolutely pathetic justice system and the disregard our Animal Control, District Attorney and Judges have and their refusal to investigate, charge and prosecute animal abusers, we created a Do Not Adopt Watch List. While these people have not been charged or convicted of an animal related offense, the public still has a right to know that they should never be allowed another animal. They will be identified (and searchable) below on the All Statuses dropdown. If charges are ever filed and they are convicted, (either through plea deal or found guilty by jury/judge) they will be moved to their proper status on the registry. If you know of someone that should be on the Do Not Adopt Watch List please let us know by submitting via our Submit an Offender page as well and we will promptly add them if determined appropriate.

Important: This information is sourced from public court records as allowed under Nevada Law. Anyone who uses this information to harass or interfere with anyone listed is in violation of law.

Nevada law provides that all government records are open to the public unless otherwise directed. This includes criminal court records that contain documents providing details of criminal court proceedings in the state. These records include dockets and case files, including orders, warrants, complaints, motions, and final judgments. Per the Nevada Court Administrative Policy (Part VII), criminal court records are public records that anyone may view, inspect, and copy unless otherwise specified.

As a result, and in order to protect all animals in the state, this registry lists defendants whose animal related cases have been decided in court with a guilty outcome — by plea agreement, by a judge, or by a jury. Each record shows how the case was decided.
